Ultrasonic flaw detection steps

Let's talk about the steps of ultrasonic flaw detection.

a) Prepare the workpiece to be tested;

b) Insert the probe cable plug into the socket above the main unit and tighten the plug;

c) Select the working power supply according to 2.1.3, press <ONKEY> to turn on the machine;

d) program loading and power-on self-test;

e) Under normal conditions when booting, it automatically enters the state when it was last turned off. The instrument parameters are the same as when it was last turned off, but the waveforms from the last shutdown are not displayed. When the power-on self-test is not normal, you can shut down and restart again. If the self-test still fails, you can force reset to the factory state (see 3.14.10).

f) Check the battery voltage. If the battery power detection icon is as shown in Figure 2.3, if the battery is low, it will automatically shut down after the alarm ring sounds for 1 minute.

g) Whether it is necessary to calibrate the instrument and draw the DAC or AVG curve, if necessary, professional and technical personnel to carry out related operations (see Chapter 4);

h) call up the parameter settings of the corresponding flaw detection channel;

i) measurement;

j) store the data that needs to be saved;

k) shutdown;

2. Start the instrument

Press <On Key>, after the boot tone, the screen starts and enters the program loading process. The entire loading process takes about 4-5 seconds. After the program is loaded, the system performs a self-test and enters the operation interface.
