The hardness is a very effective and practical test method for the hardness test of large workpieces. It has a tendency to replace the Shore hardness tester in China.

The Portable Hardness Tester cannot test surface hardened workpieces. Testing small parts by coupling is often unreliable and there is currently a tendency to mislead small parts. For medium and small parts, the internationally accepted static hardness test method should be used as much as possible. As with the Shore hardness test, the comparison of the results of the Leeb hardness test is also limited to materials with the same or similar elastic modulus.
